Omnex Acquires Futurepast, Strengthening Our Sustainability Expertise

On October 17, 2024, Omnex proudly announced the acquisition of Futurepast, Inc., a respected Arlington, Virginia-based company specializing in greenhouse gas (GHG) consulting, training, and auditing services. This acquisition aligns with Omnex’s strategic vision to expand our global sustainability services.

Futurepast will now operate as part of Omnex’s Secure, Safe, and Sustain (Omnex S3) business unit, with John Shideler, a leading expert in GHG and Net Zero initiatives, taking on the role of Managing Director of Sustainability Services.

Together, Omnex S3 and Futurepast are committed to supporting the global transition to a Net Zero world. Our expanded services will offer enhanced training, consulting, and verification to help our customers reduce their carbon footprint and meet sustainability goals. Additionally, Omnex S3 continues to drive innovation in eMobility with product certifications for Automotive Functional Safety and Cybersecurity, supporting a future where Safety, Security, and Sustainability work hand in hand.
