Global Intelligent Driving Summit

The summit focused on the application of smart driving in cities; focusing on Vehicle-Road Collaboration, Internet of Vehicles, Electrification and Intelligence of New Energy Vehicles, and gathered top smart vehicle makers from China, the United States, Japan, Germany, and Austria. Some of the topics discussed were R&D capabilities, and building important resource systems. In addition to discussing wider topics such as politics, production, learning, and research there were updates on the development of Xiangcheng's high quality smart car.

In the two-day summit, there were more than a thousand guests from all over the world from governments, industry, academia, and research fields. Through nearly 30 speeches and continuous round table forums, attendees were able to learn latest industry trends, the latest industry technology, but also the upstream and downstream. The speakers had a deep understanding of the achievements and future plans of the digital “scene city” created by Suzhou Xiangcheng with the high-speed rail new city at the core. Ding Shengyi, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Suzhou High-speed Rail New Town, Gong Weijie, Deputy Secretary-General of China Society of Automotive Engineering and Secretary-General of China Intelligent Connected Automobile Industry Innovation Alliance, China National Automobile (Beijing) Intelligent Connected Automobile Research Institute Co., Ltd. Senior Deputy General Manager Wang Yuejian, President of Suzhou Automotive Research Institute of Tsinghua University Cheng Bo and others attended the forum and shared their valuable insights. In addition, guests and representatives from domestic universities and institutes, domestic and foreign smart car and other industry-related enterprises, and financial institutions participated in this forum.

From "City Scene" to "Scene City", from smart cars to “smart roads” and “flexible networks”, from enterprise "circle of friends" to OEM’s "ecosphere". In this summit we were able to successfully set up an important resource system covering politics, industry, and research.
